Es gibt rund um Ko Kut ein paar Tauch- und Schnorchelplätze. Die interessantesten Gebiete befinden sich jedoch bei Koh Chang und dem Meeres-Nationalpark Koh Rang, südlich von Koh Chang (für Taucher und Schnorchler). Ausserdem gibt es noch vor Koh Chang das Schiffswrack HTMS Chang (nur für Taucher), welches für sein Fischreichtum bekannt ist. Walhaie wurden dort ebenfalls schon gesichtet!
Die meisten Orte sind auch von Ko Kut aus erreichbar, z.B. mit BB Divers Ko Kut oder auch mit einem Speedboot als Tagestour. Koh Rang ist ein beliebter Ausflugsort und man sollte darum nicht damit rechnen, dort ganz alleine zu sein.
